Goodyear Outfits 2015 Ford F-150 Models

AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2015 Ford F-150, part of Ford F-Series, America's best-selling truck, is putting power to the pavement – or even where there is no pavement – with the help of Goodyear Wrangler tires.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Akron, Ohio, USA

Full-size truck owners use their vehicles for a wide range of personal activities and work functions, and the tires selected are intended to help fulfill those uses. The all-new 2015 Ford F-150 is now arriving in dealer showrooms, and it carries multiple features: a fully boxed, high-strength steel frame; military-grade, aluminum alloys in its body and cargo box; LED lights; a 360-degree camera system; and the option of a turbocharged V-6 engine. In addition to these elements, the trucks continue to offer the expected toughness, innovation and best-in-class towing and payload capabilities the F-150 represents.

Goodyear tires will be outfitting the 2015 Ford F-150 XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch models. This includes these tires:

  • Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure in 275/55R20, LT 245/70R17 and LT275/65R18 tire sizes. This tire features Goodyear's exclusive Durawall Technology, which offers toughness and helps resist sidewall cuts and punctures, and biting edges and a specialized rubber compound for superior traction on wet and icy roads.
  • Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT in 275/65R18 and 265/70R17 tire sizes. On-highway manners, excellent wet traction and long tread life are key features of the Wrangler Fortitude HT.

Goodyear tires are on more new vehicles in North America than any other brand, including many from Acura, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Infiniti, Jeep, Land Rover, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Scion, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen.
