Goodyear is recognized for the second consecutive year as a 2024 Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion as a result of its high score in the annual Disability Equality Index®. This accolade from the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and Disbility:IN, the global business disability inclusion network, underscores the commitment of Goodyear and our associates to fostering an inclusive workplace where individuals of all abilities can thrive.
The Disability Equality Index® is the world’s most comprehensive benchmarking tool for Fortune 1000 companies to measure disability workplace inclusion inside their organization and to assess performance across industries. In 2024, 542 corporations used the Disability Equality Index to benchmark their disability inclusion efforts across six categories: culture and leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, community engagement, supplier diversity, and non-U.S. operations.
In the annual index report, benchmarking results are aggregated alongside best practices from top-scoring companies. The 2024 report highlights updated trends in disability inclusion across companies and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Goodyear will continue to use its results from the Disability Equality Index and other inclusion benchmarking to enhance our workplace experience for all associates.
